So I recently found out that my Uncle Mark also invited my Uncle Dave and Aunt Bobbie to that cult I told you guys about. Nick and I were so excited to know the outcome because my Uncle Dave is one of those people who are very loud and like to make their opinion known. He has been a christian for as long as I can remember and his beliefs are firm.
Unfortunately though, my aunt and uncle bought into the junk and are going to the next couple of meetings. I am thinking that maybe they are only telling Uncle Mark this to be nice, but like I said, my Uncle Dave makes his opinions known loud and clear(literally).
Now, because I don't want to leave you guys with a depressing story about a crazy cult, I'll leave you with this song that I think we can all relate to.

The Post Almost About Something
Alright, so I was going to blog about how today was the last day of school and all, but I decided not to for two reasons. One, is I still have school for five more weeks starting on monday. And the second reason is that if you are reading this blog, you probably already knew that today was the last day of school(unless your name is Johnathan Diaz).
So, now i'm not really sure what to blog about, but this is not the end of this post! Because i'm posting this post and I get to decide when it's the end. And it's not the end.
It's still not the end.
Nope...not the end.
I guess you could say it's nearing the end.
But, it's not the end.
It's not the end.
Ok, I think it's the end.

Revelations
So, I've been thinking a lot(A LOT) about the book of Revelations lately, and I feel like the rapture is coming soon. For example, I recently got an e-mail saying that Motorola is making a new chip that will be placed in either the right hand or the forehead(sound familiar?). It will replace the credit card and nobody will be able to buy or sell without it. I kind of feel like it's just a rumor, but the bible also talks about a huge earthquake occuring after the rapture(also sounds familiar).
So, please don't go around telling people "JESUS IS COMING! JESUS IS COMING!," just because I blogged about it, I'm only asking you to pray about it.

Spiritual Western Coastline!!
So, this weekend, I went to Spirit West Coast in Del Mar and it friggin' rocked! I saw so many concerts and jumped my legs off. One of the best parts of it all though, was the fact that all the bands were just walking around(THEY WERE LIKE PEOPLE hahaha). I was able to meet Wavorly, The Wedding(yes, that's a band), Kutless(haha, sort of), Above the Golden State(haha awesome story), and Thor Ramsey(not a band, but I met him). Oh, and Phil and Evin Wickham bumped into me at the Needtobreathe concert(haha).
One of the speakers was a man without limbs named Nick Vujicic. He was amazing! If you ever get a chance to see him, DO IT!
Again, it was a great weekend and if you didn't go this year(you may not live to see tomorrow), I reccomend you try to go next year or to the one coming up in Monterey if you live near there.

Absolute Chaos
So, aparrently my dad and Cynthia had a horrible weekend together. They had... let's just say creative differences. My dad's new songs were too happy and up-beat for her, so she refused to sing it. Then, they each had different ideas for how a certain part of the song should go, and decided they would create a vote. Without telling anyone who's was who's they played each of the parts and asked Nick and Traci which was better. Both Nick and Traci agreed that my dad's was better and Cynthia was ticked!
Mother's day came around, and Mor Mor(Sweedish for grandma) went over to my dad's house for the day. I'm not completely sure what happened, but I guess Cyndie somehow messed up with her plane ticket or something and was screaming into the phone at the airport employee. I wasn't there, but I wish I was because apparently, she found out she was wrong and stormed out and yelled at Mor Mor...(wait for it), to which Mor Mor relied, "Find your power Cynthia!"(they are in some kind of cult). Cyndie wanted nothing to do with it, went outside, and screamed bloody murder. She then walked around outside in her pajamas for a couple of minutes(yikes!).
Now, let's get back to the cult thing. My uncle Mark definately needs God. He is one of those people with a ton of money, everything he wants, and is missing something. He tried to find out what this was by joining a cult. In this cult, you pay ahead of time(a very large sum) and the only way to reach fulfilment, is to complete the following course which costs even more money. There is always another step and nobody ever gets this "fulfillment". My uncle Mark has been telling Nick how great it is(he's in like the advanced course now) and Nick, being a youth pastor, has been avoiding, but this time he had no choise and is spending the weekend at this cult. Last night he came home with a long story(he likes to tell those) and it was hilarious. I think i've rambled enough now, so i'll keep it short. Nick showed up to this thing and was basically the class-clown. He mocked everything in his head, and ocassionally, it would come out of his mouth(hahaha). I'll just tell you one of their exercises. So, they had been sitting in these metal chairs for 13 hours now with one 20 minute lunch break, and everyone was hurting. In this exercise, they were told to pinpoint their pain and hurt in their lives and close their eyes. When they opened their eyes, they would be healed(???). Everyone in the room with the exception of a few people said their pain was gone. Basically the way it works is that you already paid before you came, so if you don't participate and buy into this bull, you just wasted a boat-load of money, so eveyone forces their brains into believing it and we have what we call a cult.
So, to those of you have reached this point, I congradulate you! I now allow you to treat yourself to anything in your fridge. You deserve it! ;)

National Day of Prayer
Personally, I think everyday should be the day of prayer. To me, that's like having a national day of breathing. It just doesn't make sense.
Anyway, I just learned that Cyndie is coming tonight at around 11(I guess there is something to pray about). For those of you unaware, Cyndie is my crazy step-aunt who helps my dad write songs(actually she just sings them). By the way, i'm supposed to call her Cynthia now(BLAH!) because she thinks it's more sophisticated or something. Luckily, i'll probably be asleep when she comes and i'm leaving tomorrow so I probably will only see her for a few minutes(still BLAH!). Just knowing she will be sleeping in my room is enough. Last time, I didn't know she came, and I got home from school to find anti-wrinkle junk on my desk and women's undergarments on my bed(DOUBLE BLAH!).
Also, for those of you wondering about their(my dad's) music, here's a link to her site:

I wonder if I get extra allowance for that plug. MUHAHAHAHA

Finally
After a week of non-stop STAR testing and practice STAR testing added onto my regular chapter tests and quizes with review for STAR, it was really nice to finally get a weekend. I thought it would never come. So far, the weekend is going pretty sweet too. Yesterday, I went to Ty's showcase for DTASC, a drama competition and met up with Jared Ash(Ketchum), David Tapia, and Diego. They are so scary nowadays, it's not even funny. Seriously, if you saw these guys on the street you would fear for your life. It was surprisingly less awkward than I thought it would be though.
I had almost forgotten how awesome it is to have a pool at home until today when Nick and I went outside to put the dogs out(what a struggle) and saw the pool. We put our feet in to see how it felt. We both looked at the pool, then at each other and were each thinking the same thing. We immediately removed our cell phones and wallets and Nick followed me in clothes and all. That is my definition of pure awesomenessness.
After that, we turned on JCTV, and saw probably the coolest music video EVER!! You can check it out with this link:

Disneyland Magic
So, today my dad, Traci, Bekah, and I went to, as the title states, Disneyland. It was really weird without my brothers because the whole time my dad and Traci were like newly-weds(that's the best way I can describe it). Now, that wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that they have been married for almost ten years. The other reason why today was so odd, was because for some reason Bekah, who hates me by the way, kept clinging onto me. It was like
Traci: Oh, we should ride...
Bekah: I wanna ride with Greg!
Traci: Yeah and then we could ride...
Bekah: I wanna ride with Greg!!
Dad: Ok, then we should head on over to...
Bekah: I wanna hold Greg's hand!!!
Me: WHAT THE HECK?? WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO ME??!
And then by the time we were in the car, she wanted to rip my head off again. It was like the magic of Disneyland(lol).
Traci: Oh, we should ride...
Bekah: I wanna ride with Greg!

Just wondering
I know it was last week, but i've been thinking about Easter a lot. I just want to know at what point Easter got so out of hand. Easter is about Jesus coming to earth just be brutally beaten and killed as punishment for our mistakes. And yet, we turned it into a rabbit giving out colored eggs.
WHAT???!!! A RABBIT?!
After what He did for us, we celebrate a rabbit and a man in red. I was just wondering what lunatic thought that up. Did it happen gradually, or did some guy just think it up one day? I don't know, just wondering.

Nothin' Day
As you probably(hopefully) know, this is Easter Weekend! Yesterday was Good Friday and I always wondered why it was called that. Good Friday is the day of Jesus' death, not his ressurection. I mean yeah there is very good reason that he died and he died for a purpose, but it just seems like we are celebrating the death itself. Anyway, tomorrow is Easter, and i'm not sure what today is called. I think i'll call it the Nothin' day because nothin' happened today. Yesterday was the death, tomorrow is the ressurection, and today is nothin'. So, HAPPY NOTHIN' DAY!!

Proverbs 18:10 says "The name of the lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe."(and so is my stomach lol)

Crysalis
So, I spent this weekend at a retreat called Crysalis. The whole theme is that we arrive as caterpillars, spend the weekend in a cocoon, and on Sunday emerge as butterflies. At times it was a little weird, but it was a lot of fun, I made a lot of friends, and I grew in faith. One particular thing that I thought was really weird at first was the fact that we couldn't know what time it was. Whenever anyone would ask how much time we had for a break or what not, they would get a simple reply of two fingers separated and the sizes would vary depending on how much time we had. At times this would cause a lot of confusion, but I learned to actually enjoy not knowing what time it was. I believe that sometimes people are too caught up in time and "anticipate rather than participate." Another cool thing about the weekend was the fact that they completely STUFF YOUR FACE WITH FOOD! Seriously, I am still full!
On another note, I finally got "Fangs!" by Falling Up an I have to say that I don't really like it. I spent all that time wanting it and I don't even like it. First of all, the entire album is in chronological order of some Greek myth about some kids from a tribe being shot with poison arrows and this guy traveling to Neptuen to see what happened. In my book that's a little creepy. Not to mention the music itself isn't even that good. I am a huge fan of Falling Up, but this album is horrible. I just can't get into it no matter how hard I try. So, sorry to hype you up and then tear you down, but that is my opinion on it. Maybe you are into that sort of thing in which case you should definately get it, but I just hate the whole CD. On a happier note, the new Red album "Innocence and Instinct" is really good. It's my brother's CD so I haven't heard it all but what I have heard rocks! One of the songs from it is on my playlist so rock on!

I'm back!
First of all, my blogger name is a little long and very odd. This is because Every time I typed in a name, it had been taken so I went with the most out-there name that I could think of. Plus, I never thought i'd actually blog, but i've given into peer pressure and started up again.
I also added some pretty sweet christian music and if you don't like it, you can either suck it up and listen to it, get off my blog, or simply click the pause button(probably that last one).
Now, onto the actual blogging part. Today the new Falling Up album "Fangs" came out and i've been saving the date(and my money) for about a month now. My dad and I decided that we should buy the CD right after my eye appointment. I had my check-up and needless to say, my eyes ROCK, so we headed over to Living Water and all they had was a measly shelf of CDs, so we went to the Family Christian Bookstore in Clairemont which is usually my "go-to place" for all things christian and they didn't have it either. I ended up ordering it from Amazon and getting the two day shipping, meaning i'll have to wait until I get back from my mom's house next Friday to actually listen to it...
